GMS has recently taken over the development of the Chi-Zhiingwaak (CZ) Business Park: an 18-lot business park located at the entrance to Atikameksheng Anishnawbek, located in Naughton, Ontario. It is currently in the design and engineering stage of its second phase of development.
The Business Park will be fully serviced including connections to Atikameksheng Anishnawbek's sewer systems, hydro, natural gas, and telecommunications services. Lot sizes range from 0.4 to 1.7 hectares. Presently, there is one tenant occupying the three existing lots as per the Phase 1 plan. There is a growing list of individuals and organizations interested in the remaining 15 lots. In addition to industrial lots, we are developing multi-unit retail and office spaces.
We will be leasing sites to Businesses through a mutually beneficial agreement that benefits both GMS and our tenants. In addition, GMS may engage in development agreements in instances where the potential for joint ventures or large-scale projects with significant impact on the Nation exist.
